ROBERT "BOB" ROBBINS, age 73, of Piqua, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 23, 2008 at his residence. He was born April 29, 1935 in West Liberty, KY to the late Roscoe and Elizabeth (Roland) Robbins. On July 10, 1953, he married Lois Smith in West Liberty, KY. She survives.


Bob is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Ron & Terri Robbins, Piqua; two daughters and son-in-law: Karin & Bill Brown and Robyn Kidder, all of Piqua; five grandchildren: Gabe & Austin Swallow, Brittany Robbins, Jacob Robbins and Colten Kidder, all of Piqua; and three great grandchildren: Caitlin Swallow, Troy, Mason Swallow and Lilliana Willcox, both of Piqua. He was preceded in death by five sisters, three brothers and one grandson: Joshua Robbins.


Bob was a member of Piqua Apostolic Church, Piqua. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father and a proud grandfather. His family was his pride and joy. Bob retired from Dinner Bell Foods in Troy in 1990. He also worked as a carpenter off and on all his life. Bob loved working with his hands and building things.


Funeral service will be Friday, June 27, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Piqua Apostolic Temple, 830 Covington Avenue, Piqua with Pastor Dan Hathaway officiating. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher.
