There was no death date scribed on monument for Marshall on 26-May-2016 also the birth year is scribed 1936 all other primary sources have birth year as 1938 and 1939
MARSHALL E. COMBS, 76, of Sidney, passed away at 2:45 AM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community. He was born on February 5, 1938 in Belfry, Kentucky, the son of the late James and Bertha (Duncan) Combs.
On June 5, 1964 he was married to Joanne Slife, who preceded him in death on July 16, 2004. Marshall is survived by his three children; Kathy (Roger) Allen, Tom Combs, and Penny Ludwig, all three of Sidney, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Mr. Combs was retired from the Copeland Corporation where he worked for more than 30 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and his favorite football team, the Cincinnati Bengals. Marshall was a loving husband to his late wife, and a caring father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family at Fletcher Cemetery.
