Ada Virginia Wagner, 88, of 3003 W. Cisco Road, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at 4:05 p.m. at Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
She was born June 26, 1923 in Sidney, the daughter of the late John and Armada (Wright) DeBorde.
On Sept. 21, 1940, she married Lewis Edward Wagner, who preceded her in death Aug. 11, 1981.
She is survived by four children, Wayne E. Wagner, and wife, Carol, Darrell K. Wagner, and wife, Sharon, Sheryl L. Cotterman, and husband, Jeff, and Terry P. Wagner, and wife, Sandra, all of Sidney; one brother, John Deborde Jr., of Arnold, Md.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary (Wagner) West and Marlena Wagner, one son, Kevin Wagner, one grandson, John W. West, and one granddaughter, Angelina Wagner.
Mrs. Wagner was a homemaker and a former nurse's aide at Fair Haven Shelby County Home and at the former Hillcrest Nursing Home, now known as The Pavilion. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Dec. 28, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., by the Rev. George Gnade. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery in Houston.
