PAUL DAVID WOGAMAN, 92, of 3619 State Route 66, Houston, passed away at 12:00 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Kindred Center at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 8, 1920 in Darke County, Ohio, the son of the late David and Elizabeth (Didier) Wogaman.

On April 10, 1943 he was married to Glenna Russell, his wife of 70 years, who survives along with their three children; Larry Wogaman and wife Terri of Houston, OH, Donna Jean Weaver of St. Marys, OH, and Darlene Mummey and husband Dave of Houston, OH, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Wogaman, and son-in-law, Doug Weaver.

Mr. Wogaman was a W.W.II veteran of the United States Army, where he served in the 99th Division - 371st Field Artillery. Paul was stationed in Germany in the area of the Rhine River and in Belgium. He was a heavy machine gun operator and in the course of his three years he was also posted in several parts of the U.S., including Mississippi, Texas and Oklahoma.

After the war Paul worked full-time on a farm. In 1954 he took on a job as custodian at the Houston School until 1966. He worked at LeRoi Dresser for 2 years, and then for the Shelby County Garage until he retired at 60 years old. After retirement he helped out at Houston Elevator and Michael's Mowers.

Paul was proud that he helped start the Volunteer Fire and Rescue Departments in Houston. He was a member of the Houston Community Center and a member of the Oran Christian Church. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW in Fort Loramie, OH. Paul enjoyed playing cards, camping and boating with friends and family. He loved his old wheel horse tractor. He also loved to square dance and go to flea markets where he would sell his wood crafts. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with Rev. Dale Ritts officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Houston Cemetery in Houston, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1 to 4 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to either Houston Fire Department or Oran Christian Church in memory of Paul David Wogaman.

GLENNA BELL WOGAMAN, 92, of Houston, passed away at 7:30 AM, Friday, November 20, 2015 at Heritage Manor in Minster. She was born on May 27, 1923 in Shelby County, the daughter of the late Charles and Kate (Hardesty) Russell. On April 10, 1943, Glenna married Paul Wogaman and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2013.

Glenna is survived by her three children; Larry (Terri) Wogaman, Donna (Art Ayers) Weaver, Darlene (Dave) Mummey all of Houston, OH, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Doral Russell and one sister, Opal Liess.

Mrs. Wogaman loved children and was a babysitter all her life. She babysat many, many children over her life time. She was a life member of the Oran Christian Church and enjoyed playing cards and going camping. Glenna will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney, with Rev. Dale Ritts officiating. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery in Houston, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 4 - 6 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Houston Fire Department or Oran Christian Church in memory of Glenna B. Wogaman.
