Husband of Nancy Pitt Welton
Chandler and his family have been recognized by the Ashtabula County Genealogical Society as "Pioneer Settlers" first settling Ashtabula in 1818 and later in North Kingsville in 1821. Also identified as a "First Family of Ohio) by the Ohio State Genealogical Society.
Died 8 Jan 1858 in North Kingsville. He is buried in the Old (original) section of Eastlake Cemetery.
