Prosper Dalien Speraw was born on October 19, 1864 to Gilson Speraw and Lydia Susanne in Annville (Lebanon Co), Pennsylvania. He married Margaret "Maggie" Ellen Willige on August 22, 1896 in Wellston (Jackson Co), Ohio. They had two children, Nora Ellen Speraw and Harry William Speraw, Sr. He died March 8, 1946 in Wellston, Ohio and is buried next to his wife in Ridgewood Cemetery.
