Baker Cem. is located in Section 19 of Bedford Twp. Take St. Rt. 33 north out of Pomeroy about 7 miles to Co. Rd. 19, Kingsbury Rd., go west about one mile to Twp. Rd. 367 turn right. The cemetery will be on your left about quarter mile north on 367. This is an old cemetery and one of the very few that is on level ground in Meigs Co. There are many sunken graves which no longer have tombstones and many of the remaining stones are becoming worn and almost unreadable. The earliest stones we saw were from 1836 to 1839. There is very little left of the stone with 1839. [See __AKER tombstone]. Most tombstones were from the 1840s and 1850.
