Born in Nivevh, Goshen Twp., Tuscarawas Co., OH to Philip H. Schumaker and Minnie Trostdorf dua. of Ferdinand Trostdorf of Prussia and Maria Anna Reist of Switzerland. Died in New Philadelpia, Ohio Aug 3, 1940. Married to Anna Marie Reiser Schumaker and they were the parents of one son George Arthur Schumaker.
