This addition was added on to the church in the 1960s and I was told that it was built on top of graves. In looking at the picture I am not sure that is the case. Notice the church is on lower ground than the cemetery and they would have had to remove those buried first since the foundation of the addition would be even lower into the ground. Also there is a basement window in the wall of the additon. That puts the foundation even deeper in the ground.
