He is the son of Nicholas Glosser Sr. and Mary Hafer. He was born abt. 1787 in Harper's Ferry, Jefferson Co., Virginia (Harper's Ferry, West Virginia). He married Elizabeth Lemar on April 11, 1821 in Adamsville, Muskingum Co., Ohio. They had 5 children. He died on October 19, 1840 at age 53 yrs.
