Daughter of Peter Schaeffer and Catharine Stroh/Straw. Peter is the son of Catharine Lorisch Schaeffer and Johan Georg Schaeffer. Sarah was born Sept. 18, 1811 in Centre County, Pennsylvania and died January 22, 1893 in Germantown, Montgomery County, Ohio.
