Major league third baseman Oscar Grimes was in the top 10 in his league in triples in 1944 & 1945, and in the top 10 in 1945 in on-base percent, walks, times on base, times hit by pitch and was an All-Star. I believe he is still tied for the record with at least one RBI in seventeen straight games. His father and uncle were also major leaguers.
