Hester was the youngest child of Jesse Mitchell and Elizabeth Wilson Robinson. She was born in Union County, Ohio in Jul 1844. On 7 Feb 1867, Hester married Zenas Oratio McCullaugh/McCullough. Zenas was a son of Samuel McCullaugh/McCullough and Margaret Robinson in Union County. Hester and Zenas had two children before his early death, in 1869. Hester died in 1908 in Lancaster, Fairfield County, Ohio.
