STROKE OF PARALYSIS FATAL TO MRS. C.V. BURNS EARLY TUESDAY
Mrs. Minnie Burns, 88, wife of C.V. Burns, passed away at three o'clock Tuesday morning at her home northeast of St. Paris following a stroke of paralysis suffered last Thursday night.
She resided for a number of years in St. Paris before moving to their farm three miles northeast of the village.
Mrs. Burns was an active member of the First Baptist church of St. Paris, the Sunday school and the Home Circle.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Miley, and spent her entire life in this community.
Surviving are her husband, Charles V Burns; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Han, St. Paris; one son Cleome Burns, Cincinnati; a granddaughter, Brenda Lou Burns, Cincinnati, one sister, Mrs. Elnora McNeal of Rosewood.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the late residence, the Rev. A. O Long, pastor of the local Baptist church officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. J.W. Poorman, Piqua former pastor. Burial will be made in the Spring Grove Cemetery, Millerstown
