Suzanna Elson, age 71, of Fletcher passed away at 7:21 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Born on August 9, 1942 in Richmond, IN, Susan was raised by her late paternal grandmother, Carrie Juday. She married Dana L. Elson on November 26, 1980 and he survives. She is also survived by a son, Jackie Cox, Jr. and his wife, Becky of Centerville, IN; a step-son, Scott and his wife Kathy Elson of Ludlow Falls, OH; four grandchildren: Jessica Cox, Lindsay Cornelius, Scott Elson, Jr., and Curtis Elson; and three great grandchildren. Extended family members include sister-in-laws Sheila Perkins of Pleasant Hill, OH; Michelle (Dave) England of Troy, OH, and brother-in-law Edward (Sabrina) Elson of Galion, OH, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her grandmother, she was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law: Jewel Trout and Debbie York. Suzanna was a homemaker and she enjoyed knitting. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher, OH with Rev. Bonita Wood of the Tipp City United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery
