Hiram 1818 -- 1955
Elizabeth H. 1829 -- 1908
Hiram Limes was the second oldest son of Henry and Hannah(Nolan) Limes.
Hiram married Elizabeth Cory, born December 17, 1829 who was a daughter of James and Rebecca Sperry Cory. Elizabeth’s sister was Sarah Ann Cory who married John Limes of Good Hope, Fayette County, Ohio.
John Limes was a son of Harmon, Jr., and his wife, and Mary (McKee) Limes Harmon Limes, Jr. was a younger brother of Henry Limes, born in 1786. Thus, the two Cory sisters married two Limes first cousins.
Following Hiram Limes’ death on May 23, 1855, his widow married again on January 28, 1864 to Samuel McNeal. Per various accounts, Elizabeth and Samuel McNeal moved to Adams County, Ohio after their marriage. Elizabeth Cory Limes McNeal died May 24, 1908 and is buried next to Hiram Limes in the Sheep Pen Cemetery.
