"Jacob E. 1846-1914 Elizabeth His Wife 1860-1936 Swingle". Jacob served in the 62nd Ohio Infantry during the Civil War. He was a son of Samuel and Susanna Harrop Swingle. Elizabeth was a daughter of James Taylor and Susan Rachel Sams Faries.
