Hilda was born 16 Feb 1899 at Washington Court House, Fayette Co., Ohio; she married Lawrence E. Augustus on 5 July 1917 in her hometown; they had 3known children, a daughter, and 2 sons; in 1939, they lived in Springfield, Clark Co., Ohio, where her husband worked at the International Harvestor plant; she died in Springfield on 26 May 1963.
