Joseph and Virginia were both born in Delphi, Indiana. Mother, father, and daughter were victims of a winter-time auto accident in Waterville, Ohio that occurred on 4 December 1921. Virginia was the daughter of Frank Dowe and Mary Eagan; Joseph was the son of Charles Roskuski. There were three children who survived Virginia and Joseph: Margaret, Mildred, and Francis. The family resided on Montrose Ave. and were members of St. Teresa Parish.
