Nova was born Sep 15, 1900 in Perry County, Ohio, and died in July 18, 1999 in Upper Arlington, Franklin, Ohio. D/O Jacob Reed (B:1879-OH), and Mary Annaball (B:1874-OH). Her siblings included: Lizzie, Genevieve, Beulah, and Thelma.
On Apr 10, 1916, Harry W Smith and Nova Marie Reed, were married in Franklin County, Ohio. There were no children noted in the census records. Harry was an oiler at a steel plant, and later a sheet metal worker.

TEMPLE Nova M. Temple, age 98, of Columbus, July 18, 1999 at Arlington Court Nursing Center. Former longtime member of South United Methodist Church and of McDowell Senior Citizens Center. Preceded in death by husbands Harry Smith and Howard Temple, sisters Beulah Ludlum, Elizabeth Kennedy, Genieve Engler, Vera Keitzer, Thelma Conrad and brother Verco Reed. Survived by brother-in-law, Williard L. Keitzer; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m., GRAUMLICH & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Rev. Daniel Curtis officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
