Henrietta was born Mar 30, 1904 in Recife, Brazil, and died May 21, 1994 in Riverside, Riverside, CA. D/O Solomon Ginsburg (B:1868-Russia) and Emma Morton (B:1866-KY). She was the youngest of 9 children of Baptist Missionaries. Her siblings included: Arvilla, Claire, Robert, Estella, and Louis. She was the wife of Kenneth R Chamberlain, who is also buried at Green Lawn Cemetery.

RIVERSIDE
Henrietta Morton Chamberlain, first director of the Riverside Art Center, now the Riverside Art Museum, died of congestive heart failure Saturday at Riverside Community Hospital.
She was 90.
Mrs. Chamberlain and her late husband, political cartoonist and illustrator Kenneth R. Chamberlain, were founding members of the Riverside Art Association and Center. Mrs. Chamberlain and Patsy O'Toole were the coordinating chairwomen of the project to establish the art center. They and their volunteers turned the former Riverside animal shelter on Brockton Avenue into a center in 1956. In 1967 the museum moved to its present site in the former YWCA building at Seventh and Lime streets.
A resident of Riverside since 1951, Mrs. Chamberlain was past president of Riverside's Zonta Club and served on its scholarship committee.
A native of Recife, Brazil, she was the youngest of nine children of Baptist missionaries. She wrote the book, "Where the Sabia Sings," published in New York by The Macmillan Co. in 1947. The partial autobiography, recounting the adventures of a child growing up in Brazil, made the New York Times best-seller list.
She also lived in Texas, New York City and Altadena.
She was a founding member of the Citizens University Committee that worked to bring the University of California to Riverside. She was a Riverside Opera Association volunteer and a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Church Women and involved in other activities.
Mrs. Chamberlain announced the end of World War II in Portuguese on Radio Free Europe and served as a translator for Portuguese-speaking visitors in New York and Riverside.
She was interested in duplicate bridge.
She earned a bachelor of arts degree at Baylor Women's College, Baylor University, Texas. She was a copywriter for New Yorker magazine in the 1920s and a buyer/translator for Macy's Department Store.
Mrs. Chamberlain is survived by her sons, Thomas of Riverside and John of Santiago, Chile; daughters-in-law, Jacqueline of Riverside and Teresa of Santiago; grandchildren, Lynn of Riverside, Kenneth of Washington, D. C., and John Paul, Peter and and Martin of Santiago; and several nieces and nephews. Her son, Russell of Riverside, died last year.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 4 in Calvary Presbyterian Church, Riverside. Her ashes will be interred in Ohio. Acheson and Graham Mortuary of Riverside is handling arrangements.
