Guy Thomas Morton was the son of Seth and Mary Morton.
Born in West Virginia, Lovey was the daughter of Davison and Louisa Arthur. She married first Edward D. Shrout 15 Mar 1903.
She married second Guy Thomas Morton 17 Aug 1907 in Harrison County, West Virginia. The 1910 census shows them living in Calhoun County, West Virginia.
The 1920 census shows them living and farming in Olive Township, Meigs County, Ohio, and the 1930 census shows them in Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia. Guy's World War II registration shows that they also lived for a time in Canton, Stark County, Ohio.
Based on a compilation of the 1920 and 1930 censuses they had these children:
