John Martin Jackson was the adopted son of Emerson and Louisa Jackson of Trumbull Co. They adopted him before the 1850 census (age 3). The cemetery records state that he was a peddler and died of typhoid fever. It lists his father as Robert Martin, but this may have been his brother.
