Reverend John Milton Polen son of George William and Sally (Baker) Polen of Monroe Co Ohio; wife Roberta Newman (McNaspy/McAnaspy) Polen daughter of Richard Woodward and Marinda (Ferrell) McNaspy/McAnaspy of Monroe and Washington Counties Ohio. John and Roberta were the parents of George Polen and Florence Olverna Polen who married Thomas Jefferson McKenna. John and Roberta were my great grandparents. He was a horseback riding circuit Methodist preacher and was the Polen Single Lecture Tax Bureau!
