Armenia Rigsby, 50, of 10th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio, died on 22 May 1933 in Portsmouth General. She had been a patient since May 9. She was born in Carter County, Ky. Mrs. Rigsby was a member of the Tri-State Apostolic Church of Twelfth Street. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Fulton Rigsby in November 1931. (Mr. Rigsby was buried in the Greenlawn Cemetery, according to his obituary in The Portsmouth Times, 12 Nov 1931.) Mrs. Rigsby was survived by four children, Lindsay (Lenzie), Meredith, Allen and Brightfield, and four brothers, Andrew, Everett, Garland and Louis Meadows. Funeral services were held in the 16th Street home of a son. Mrs. Rigsby was interred in Milldale Cemetery, Scioto County, Ohio.
