A WSPD radio personality, Mrs. Evans was a script writer and interviewer at the radio station for 27 years. She retired in 1972. In 1958, she had presented a baby puma as a gift from the Toledo Zoo to Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco and was an overnight guest at the palace in Monaco.

Additionally, Mrs. Evans was a member of the America Women in Radio and Television, The American Association of University Women, Catholic Collegians, and St. Hedwig's Parish. She was a founder of the Toledo area Muscular Dystrophy Telethon and was active in both the Muscular Dystrophy and American Cancer Societies.

Buried in the Krzyzaniak family plot.
