GRACE LUCILLE (NORMAN) BODEY SPITLER, 83, of Urbana, died Wednesday, October 10, 2001 in Heartland of Urbana. She was born on May 5, 1918 in Champaign County, the daughter of Benjamin Monroe & Addie Victoria (Weller) Norman.
Survivors include one son, Alvin Bodey of St. Paris; two grandchildren, Alvin N. II & Linda Bodey of Urbana and Alison & Kevin Sanderson of St. Paris; and four great-grandchildren, Caitlin Larraine Woodrum of St. Paris, Jenni Marie Bodey of Urbana, Wyatt Bodey Sanderson of St. Paris and Kiara Delaney Sanderson. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Farral P. Bodey; second husband, Harold Spitler; one sister, Susannah Norman; and two brothers, Paul L. Norman and Donald Norman; and daughter-in-law, Lynda Bodey.
Following her wishes, her body will be cremated and services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, URBANA. Memorial gifts may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
