Mrs. Nellie Burnside, 79, Urbana, died today at 6:45 a.m. in Mercy Memorial Hospital. She had been admitted to the hospital as a patient earlier today after being rushed there by the county ambulance at 12:1- am.
Mrs.Burnside was born in Cedar Mills in Adams County on Dec. 26, 1882, a daughter of Leonidas and Elizabeth Irvin Copas.
Survivors include her husband, William E Burnside, two sons, Ray Jones of Urbana and Loren Liston of Leeburg, FLA; and one niece, Mrs. Stella Salsbury, also of Urbana.
Funeral services will be held at the Humphreys and Son Funeral Home Friday at 2 pm with the Rv. Ralph E Simester officiating.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Urbana
