Mildred Elizabeth age 95, of Hamilton, Ohio, died on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Westover Retirement Community. She was born on December 5, 1912, in Conover, Ohio, Miami County, the daughter of the late Carl and Clara (Pruden) Wilgus. She graduated from Lena High School in Conover in 1930 and received her teaching degree from Ohio State University in 1934. Mildred taught at Lena High School from 1934-1936 and in Cincinnati from 1936-1945. On June 6, 1942, in Cincinnati, Mildred married her husband of over 52 years, William Fredericks, and he preceded her in death on May 25, 1995. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ft. Hamilton Chapter #568 Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution John Reily Chapter, Chapter CY-PEO and an Associate Member of Hamilton Garden Club. Mildred is survived by a niece, Mrs. Mary Carol Porter and husband Thomas of Granger, Indiana; nephew, William Purdy and his wife Janice of Edgewater, Maryland; many other devoted nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton, at 2pm on Saturday, August 30, 2008. Interment will follow at Fletcher Cemetery in Fletcher, Ohio
