Norma Arlene Willis, 70, of Piqua, passed away in her residence at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003. She was born on June 4, 1933 in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell Jacob and Opal Marcella (Hoover) Garbig. She married her loving husband, George F. "Jack" Willis on March 27, 1965 and the enjoyed 38 years together. She also is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jim (Brenda) Crowell of Troy; a daughter, Mitzi Crowell Warner of Troy; one stepdaughter and spouse, Pamela (Alan) Bailar of Quincy; a stepson, Mike Willis of Champaign County; and 10 grandchildren who gave her several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, one half-brother and two half-sisters. Norma worked for Piqua Memorial Hospital Linen Services, but most of her adult life was spent as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed a close, personal relationship with God and gave to many Christian organizations. Norma enjoyed good music, especially gospel music, and she was an avid NASCAR fan. She like to do needlework, wood crafts and gardening. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2003 in Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with Chaplain Ed Ellis of Miami County Hospice presiding. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher
