Charles Lewis Borror, age 85 of Fletcher, passed away in his residence on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 12:53 p.m. Born on November 12, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio, Chuck was the son of the late Neal and Dorothy (Wilson) Borror. He married Norma Lee Putnam on June 22, 1944 and she preceded him on May 7, 2012. Together they raised three children, two of whom survive: Scott Borror of Fletcher, and Cheryl Borror Lavin of Troy. Chuck was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren, five of whom survive: Lisa Borror Giegel and husband Michael of Cincinnati; Lori Lavin Ford and husband Michael of Bagwell, Texas; Amy Borror of Columbus; Larry Borror and wife Kelly of Grove City; Matthew Borror of Bangkok, Thailand; and four great grandchildren: Mitchel, Nathan, and William Giegel and Ashley Borror. Chuck is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law: Alan and Judy Borror of Fresno, CA; two brothers-in-law: David ( Windley) Putnam of Columbus, and Duane (Elizabeth) Putnam of Washington, D.C.; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Putnam of Fletcher, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Borror, daughter-in-law, Sandra Borror, son-in-law, Charles Lavin, grandson, Mark Lavin, brother Jerry and wife Evelyn Borror, three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Richard and Middy Putnam, Donald and Kathryn Putnam, and Willard Putnam. Chuck was a 1944 graduate of Lena-Conover School. He served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed on the Island of Leyte in the Phillipines during WWII where he served as an electrician's mate third class. He was a past member of Lena Masonic Lodge, Antioch Shrine, Eastern Star, and the electrical union. He was a member of the Fletcher United Methodist Church. He retired as an electrician with IBEW Local 82. Chuck enjoyed traveling, football, talking, reading the newspaper and doing crossword puzzles. He loved the ocean and beach, Norma and her cooking, Ohio State and its football. The family would like to say "thanks beyond words" to Pam, Tammy, and Joy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Fletcher United Methodist Church, 205 S. Walnut Street, Fletcher, Ohio with Reverend Bonita Wood of the Tipp City United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery

Norma Lee (Putnam) Borror, age 84, of Fletcher, passed away in her residence on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:35 a.m. Born on August 15, 1927 in Champaign County, Norma was a daughter of the late Lee and Marvel (Caven) Putnam. She married Charles Borror on June 22, 1944 and he survives. Together they raised three children, two of whom survive: Scott Borror of Fletcher, and Cheryl Borror Lavin of Troy. She was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren, five of whom survive: Lisa Borror Giegel and husband Michael of Cincinnati; Lori Lavin Ford and husband Michael of Bagwell, Texas; Amy Borror of Columbus; Larry Borror and wife Kelly of Grove City; Matthew Borror of Bangkok, Thailand; and four great grandchildren: Mitchel, Nathan, and William Giegel and Ashley Borror. Norma is also survived by two brothers: David ( Windley) Putnam of Columbus, and Duane (Elizabeth) Putnam of Washington, D.C.; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Putnam of Fletcher, and a brother-in-law, Alan (Judy) Borror of Fresno, California and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Borror, daughter-in-law, Sandra Borror, son-in-law, Charles Lavin, grandson, Mark Lavin, her step mother, Vera Putnam, three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Richard and Middy Putnam, Donald and Kathryn Putnam, and Willard Putnam, and brother-in-law, Jerry and wife Evelyn Borror. Norma was a 1945 graduate of Lena-Conover School. She was a past member of Eastern Star, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of the Fletcher United Methodist Church. She retired from Fifth Third Bank. Norma enjoyed traveling, painting, shopping, sewing and the Cincinnati Reds. She loved the ocean and beach, dogs, red cardinals, pie and chocolate, diamonds and hot pink. The family would like to say "thanks beyond words" to Pam, Tammy, and Joy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Fletcher United Methodist Church, 205 S. Walnut Street, Fletcher, Ohio with Reverend Bonita Wood of the Tipp City United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery
