Shirley A. Niswonger, 64 of 1022 Frontier Dr., Troy, died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, in Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born in Piqua on Jan. 5, 1939, to the late Elwood and Lulu Wagner Siler. She married Robert A. Niswonger on July 1, 1978, in Fletcher; and he survives. Other survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Merenda and Gerald Butcher, Lorie and Brian Mitchell all of Troy, and Ann and Tom Snider of Covington; a son, Scott Sullenberger of Troy; a stepson Allan and Wilma Niswonger of Myrtle Beach, S.C., two stepdaughters Cathy Clark and Frank Olton of Yorksville and Candy and Mike Lamme of Tipp City; 18 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Kate Siler of Bradenton, Fla., Jack Siler of Pleasant Hill, Eddie and Barbara Siler of N.C.; and cousins, Patricia and Ron Hardin of Piqua. Mrs. Niswonger was a 1956 graduate of Piqua Central High School, a bus driver for the Miami East School District, and owned and operated the Fletcher Pizza Carry Out. She was a member of the Snyder Road Church of God, the Troy Women of the Moose and the Piqua American Legion Post 184 Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing and camping. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday Oct. 23, 2003, in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery
