Robert W. Baker, age 72 of Tipp City passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
He was born April 13, 1943 in Troy, Ohio to the late Guy W. and Dorothy June (Pike) Baker.
He married his beloved wife Debra A. (Adkins) Baker on May 12, 1978 and she survives.
He is also survived by sons and daughterinlaw Rob Baker and his fiancée Lori Cummings of Troy, Dustin and Rebecca Baker of Troy, stepdaughter and spouse Michelle and Terry Schubert of Piqua, stepson Stephen Larck of Piqua, 11 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren, brothers and sisterinlaw Bill and Betty Baker of Troy, Dick Baker of Covington , sister and brotherinlaw Karen and Bill Hawkins of Sidney and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Robert was also preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Baker, brother Earl Baker, sisters Janet Cox and Linda Gephart. He was employed at Dinner Bell for 29 years and retired from Jackson Tube in 2005.
He was a member of Troy Fish and Game Club and Miami Valley Sportsmans Pigeon Racing Club. Robert enjoyed raising and racing pigeons, and playing cards with family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the FisherCheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Rich Baker officiating.
Interment will follow at Fletcher Cemetery
