Mark E. Poling, 58, of Lena, passed away Feb. 25, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Mark was born September, 26, 1952, in Piqua, a son of the late Arthur D. and Mary Louise (Lawrence) Poling.

His wife, the former Judy Mayo and he, enjoyed 31 years together. Mark also is survived by four children, Mark Erwin Poling II of Indiana, William N. Poling of Ohio, Skip Poling of Covington, and Brandy (Russell) Allen of Columbus. He was a fun loving grandfather to four grandchildren, Cage, Leah, Chelsea and Scout Poling. He also is survived by three sisters, Judy (Joe) Cottrell of Piqua, Mary Jo McReynolds of Sidney and Pam Mowery of Piqua; and two brothers, Arthur (Maddie) Poling of Bradford and Deacon (Bonnie) Poling of Kentucky; many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Sniffen and one brother, Johnny Poling.

Mark was a truck driver for Midwest Logistics, Celina.

He enjoyed his family and riding motorcycles.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Fletcher United Methodist Church, 205 S. Walnut Street, Fletcher. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Fletcher United Methodist Church. As Mark requested, his body will be cremated. A burial of the ashes will take place at a later date
