Carol Jane (Wiltheiss) Woods, 68, of Saint Paris, passed away at 11:05 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003 in her residence. She was born on April 18, 1934 in Miami County, the daughter of the late Ernest Christopher and Edythe Marie (Knoop) Wiltheiss. She is survived by six children, Beverly (Dennis) Gleason of St. Paris, Jeffrey Woods of Manhattan, Kan., Shawn (Kimberly) Woods of Urbana, Kevin (Kathleen) Woods of Conover, Christopher (Kumok) Woods of Killeen, Texas, and Aimee Woods of St. Paris, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, two stepgrandchidren and three step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters and three brothers, Lois Boehringer of Piqua, Nellie Thornton of Erie, Pa., Janet Maxson of Conover, Peggy Drennan of Cadiz, Ky., Carla Van Hoogen of Boise, Idaho, Ernest (Veda) Wiltheiss of Troy, Robert (Phyllis) Wiltheiss of Piqua, and the Rev. Jack (Glenna) Wiltheiss of Perrysville. Carol was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Hannah Woods, two brothers and three sisters. Carol attended the St. Paris Church of God, and was a member of Union Baptist Church, Troy. She was employed by Evenflo Company, Inc. of Piqua for 22 years. She was self-employed as a seamstress since the age of 8, and she was an Avon representative for 24 years. Visitation will be held for friends and family from 4-8 p.m. Saturday in the St. Paris Church of God, 122 E. Walnut St., St. Paris. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the St. Paris Church of God with Pastor Linden Good of the Mechanicsburg Christian Fellowship Church presiding. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery
