Beverly Jean "Jeanie" Hartzell, 75, of 1406 Echo Lake Dr., Piqua, died at 9:21 am, Tuesday May 20, 2008 in the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born July 23, 1932 in Piqua to the late Wilbur and Mary (Baumann) Siler.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Hartzell, Sr. whom she married January 5, 1952 in Troy. Also surviving is a son James R. (Jackie) Hartzell, Jr. of Troy; a daughter, Jennifer (Raymond) McMillion of Covington; five grandchildren, Brandon (Katie) Hartzell, Justin McMillion, Josh McMillion, Julianne Hartzell, Joseph Hartzell; a great grandson, Brent Hartzell;three sisrers, Patricia (William) Meyers of Piqua, Shirley Moler of Troy, Jerri (William) Kiesler of Vandalia; special friend and caring neighbor, Sheree Hubbard; and her beloved dog, "J.J.".
Mrs. Hartzell graduated from Troy High School. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, enjoyed her children, grandchildren, sewing, and shopping.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Con-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Angelo C. Caserta, Fr. Martin Fox, and Fr. James Simons, at 11:00 am Friday, May 23, 2008 in St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.
