Opal P. Black, 87, of 1107 Echo Lake Dr. died Sunday
at 1:05 p.m. at Piqua Memorial Hospital.
Born in Houston, Sept 21, 1894, she was the daughter of
George and Rosa Pickering Millhoff. She was married to Forrest Black. He preceded
her in death in 1978.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the churche's Gold Band Class
and the Ideal Circle. She was a member and past president of Green Leaf Garden Club.
She was a member of Art Guild.
Survivors include a son, William Black, Piqua, a daughter, Mrs. Richard Perkins (Rosemary),
Del Ray Beach, Fla; three grand children and six great grandchildren. One brother
preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at
Jamieson Funeral Home, 333 W. High Street, with the Rev Richard Hardy officiating.
Burial will be in Houston Cemetery.
