Emma Jean Black, 72, of Sidney, Ohio passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 9:15 PM. She was born October 15, 1941 in Celina, Ohio the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Chalmers) Brandon and they are deceased. She was married on March 22, 1963 to William Cissner and he passed away on November 15, 1964. She was married later on May 10, 1980 to Garth Black and he passed away on January 16, 1998. Surviving are three sisters, Barbara Brandon of Sidney, Diane Copeland and husband Harold (Gene) of Sidney, and Jane Pogue of Sidney; a foster sister, Jennifer Nolen and husband Chad of Sidney; two brothers, Harold Brandon and wife April of Sidney and Jerry Brandon and wife Anita of South Bend, Indiana and a foster brother, David Mong of Sidney. One sister, Karen Brandon is deceased. She was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary's High School, St. Mary's, Ohio. She had been the office manager at Miami River Stone Quarry for sixteen years. She was a member of the Sidney Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney with Rev. Dave Moran. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery, Houston, Ohio
