JOHN M. MATUSZ, age 58, of Houston, Ohio, died Friday October 11, 2002 at 1:30 P.M. in his residence. He was born February 6, 1944 in Baltimore, Md. To Mary (Dull) Matusz of Aberdeen, Md. And the late Theodore Matusz. He married Jan Large June 13, 1992 in Tipp City, Ohio and she survives. Also surviving is 1 Son and Daughter-In-Law: John,Jr. and Laura Matusz of Ft. Knox, Ky.; 1 Daughter: Dawn Matusz of Bellefontaine, Ohio; 2 Step sons: Patrick Craft and his fiancé Paula of Houston, Ohio; Gregory Craft and his fiancé Tiffany of Sidney, Ohio; 1 Step Daughter and Son In-Law: Michele and Jason Moore of Dayton, Ohio. 2 Sisters: Irene Matusz of Aberdeen, Md.; Doris Kick of Baltimore, Md. And 1 Niece LeAnne Kick of New Orleans, La. 3 Grandchildren: Christopher, Kayla, Elizabeth Matusz of Ft. Knox, Ky.
Mr. Matusz graduated from Parkville High School in Maryland in 1964. He was a member of the Lockington United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Hobart Corp. in Troy for 25 years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday October 17, 2002 at 11 A.M. at Lockington United Methodist Church with James Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Houston Cemetery with full military honors by VFW Post #4874.
