Dorothy L. Chambers, 83 of, Houston, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 11:15 am in her residence. She was born in Dawson on April 21, 1923 to the late Frank George and Maude Marie (Alexander) Bauer. She married Morris E. Chambers on July 19, 1952 in Fletcher; he preceded her in death on December 9, 2002.
Survivors include three nephews, Ralph A. Bauer and Michael A. Bauer both of Houston, and Charles F. Bauer of Bradenton, Fla. She was preceded in death by a son, Marky Chambers, and a brother, Charles Bauer.
Mrs. Chambers was a 1941 graduate of Houston High School and completed course work in Accounting from the Upper Valley J. V. S. She was a homemaker all of her life and a former member of the Mid County Church of Christ in Troy.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 10:00 am in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Forrest Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Houston Cemetery.
