Paul Driscoll Sr., 74, of Houston, passed away at 9:47 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at 9:47 a.m. at Upper Valley Medical Center.
He was born on Nov. 8, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late George and Ruby Mae (Mennear) Driscoll. In 1962 he married Carolyn Lee Moyer, who preceded him in death on March 3, 2011.
Paul is survived by his two sons, Paul Driscoll Jr., Mike Driscoll and fiancé, Glenda Barrett, both of Sidney, one daughter, Teresa (Darrell) Gross, of Huntsville, Tennessee; five grandchildren; one brother, John Anthony (Willie Mae) Rosebud, of Colt, Arkansas; and one sister, Sherry (Mike) Burnett of Enon, Ohio.
Mr. Driscoll was retired from Monarch Machine Tool in Sidney, where he had worked for more than 20 years. Paul enjoyed any activities that involved the outdoors, especially fishing. He also enjoyed attending various festivals, here and in many other surrounding communities. Mostly, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Paul was a member of Houston Congregational Christian Church, 4883 Russia-Houston Road, Houston, Ohio, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Kris Geise officiating. Burial will be at Houston Cemetery.
