VIRGINIA I. "SIS" (BRYANT) BURNETT, 53, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away at 6:50 a.m. at her residence on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015. She was born on Nov. 21, 1961, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Ernest Bryant and her mother Alma Virginia (Brummett) Bryant, who survives.
Virginia is also survived by her significant other: Rodney Loop, of Piqua; seven brothers and six sisters-in-law: Jimmie and Connie Bryant of Covington, Ky.; Ronnie and Alice Bryant of Cincinnati, Ohio; Larry and Erica Bryant, Billy and Christine Bryant, and Mike Bryant, all of Piqua, Ohio; Boyd "Pete" and Tammy Bryant, Barry and Tina Bryant all of Broadhead, Ky.; one sister: Patty Willoughby of Pulaski, Tenn.; one sister-in-law: Joyce Bryant of South Carolina; one grandchild: KC Burke of Piqua, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Ernie Paul Bryant and Richard Bryant; and one sister: Donna Gambill.
Virginia loved to travel, and spend time with her family. She enjoyed outside activities with her special friends Steve and Cindy. She also loved riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. Virginia worked at Starbrook in Covington, Ohio, for over 20 years as a supervisor.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home in Piqua, with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery in Houston, Ohio.
