OPAL M. LONTZ, 78, of 2901 Fair Road., passed away at 11:52 PM Friday, August 29, 2014 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 5, 1935 in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of the late Homer A. and Margie H. (Purk) Shroyer. On September 9, 1961 she was married to William F. Lontz, her husband of almost 24 years, who preceded her in death in 1985.
Mrs. Lontz was also preceded in death by two sisters. She is survived by several cousins and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Houston Cemetery, with Pastor Kent Hollis officiating. There will be no public visitation prior to service. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave. Per Opal's wishes, rather than send flowers, please make memorial contributions to Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center.
