Married Jan. 27, 1917, Vinton County; parents of five surviving children: Ronald Ellis, b May 14, 1921, Breta Avanelle, b June 7, 1924, Leota Pearl, b June 3, 1926, Donald Wilbur, b Sep 8, 1927, and Robert Carl, b July 26, 1929; one infant son and one infant daughter did not survive.
Ronald Ellis married Ruby Lorene Adkins and was father of one son, Harry Richard, b July 28, 1947; Ronald died Feb 13, 1948, 26Y, and is buried at Radcliff Cemetery. Their other four children left Vinton County.
Pearley Ellis died May 6, 1954, Radcliff, 67Y. Nina Mae died April 21, 1956, St. Anthony's Hospital, Columbus, 56Y, auto accident.
Pearley Ellis, Nina Mae, and son, Ronald Ellis, Arbaugh are buried at Radcliff Cemetery.
