Caroline Pierce, born March 4, 1868, Radcliff, d/o William J. and Hannah Gregory Pierce
John and Caroline were married Sep 12, 1882
They were the parents of 13 children, 11 of whom survived:
Mary Ellen, b Nov 24, 1883; Mary Ellen married Elmer Nelson Canode, parents of 8 children; they are buried at Radcliff
Hannah, b Jan 1, 1887; Hannah married Frank Elmer Donley; parents of 6 children they moved to New Lexington
John Joseph, b July 25, 1888; John married Winifred Ladora Barnes Pierce, 5 children; John & Winifred are buried at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wellston
Margaret, b Sep 12, 1890; Margaret married Lawrence Paul Hartley & they moved to Marion
Cynthia Lucille, b March 5, 1892; Cynthia married Clyde Bowman and they moved to Grove City
Edward, b April 16, 1894; Edward married Garnet Long, of Radcliff, parents of two daughters. They are all buried at Radcliff
Fannie, b March 7, 1896; Fannie married Jay Milton Pearce, also of Radcliff, parents of 8 children. Jay and Fannie are buried at Radcliff
Gillruth, b March 7, 1898; Gillruth married Mabel Faye Chambers, parents of three children. They are all buried at Radcliff
Eliza, b June 22, 1900; Eliza never married and is buried at Radcliff
Charles, b June 4, 1903; Charles married Elda Edith Cooper, of Radcliff, parents of three daughters. Charles and Elda are buried at Prospect
Estella, b March 4, 1911; Estella married Gerald Arbaugh of Radcliff, parents of 4 children; Estella and Gerald are buried at Obetz Cemetery.
Their two sons, Ephraim (1885-1889) and Robert Judson (1907-1909) do not have stones at Radcliff
John Riley died May 1, 1917, 70Y 10M 20D; his obituary read that he was "a highly respected citizen".
Caroline Riley died June 21, 1941, 73Y 3M 24D, aortic insufficiency; her daughter, Estella Arbaugh, was informant; Caroline, one of 13 children, had two sisters living when she died, Jane Gregory and Mahala Catherine Lowe
