LOONEY, Patricia Sue 72, of Springfield, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born on April 21, 1939 in St. Paris, the daughter of Walter B. Smith and Edith Shipper. Most of her life Pat faithfully served Christ in the Church of God. She enjoyed raising her family, spending time with her grandchildren, and working hard on the farm. Pat also spent many years as a baker operating the Country Farms Bakery until retirement. She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, John T. Looney, two daughters and sons-in-law: Kim and Clark Grube and Beth and Casey Hupman all of Springfield; one son, John M. Looney of Urbana, eight grandchildren: Shannon, Allie, Sarah, Tom, John, Jake, Troy, and Grace; one great granddaughter soon to be born, two sisters: Connie Montgomery and Cindy Foster both of Springfield; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Paulette Ketchell of Cable; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents and loving step-parents, James Ketchell and Lena Smith, one brother, Larry Smith, and one great grandson
