Death Notice -- Athens Messenger May 13, 1930
Mrs. Emma Ward, 75, widow of W.H. Ward, died at her home in Hanesville, Salem Twonsyip, Sunday evening. She leaves two daughters and four sons. The funeral took place from the Hanesville Church at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial was made in the Robinson Cemetery.
