Elizabeth was born 25 Apr 1805 in York Co., PA and died 3 Jan 1857 in Gallia Co., OH. She was the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Colvin) Wise from York Co., PA. They had moved to Belmont Co., OH where she married Thomas Hamilton 11 Apr 1822.
Thomas was born 1799 in Maryland and died 4 Aug 1855 in Clipper Mills, Gallia Co., OH. His origins and parents are unknown at this time. We get his approximate date of birth and place from the 1850 US Census.
As can be seen in this picture, each had a flat stone lying over their grave, both of which are weathered. A modern stone was added sometime in the last 25 years by a descendant.
