Kenneth E. Spring, age 91, of London, passed away Monday, May 1, 2006 in Doctors West Hospital, Columbus. He was born October 14, 1914 in Franklin County, the son of the late Alfred and Sylvia Spring. Kenneth farmed his entire life, had worked as a dealer for Grain Bin Equipment, and was a past member of the Harrisburg K of P Lodge. Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Idamae (Karnes) Spring; 2 daughters, Bonnie Jo Anderson of Mt. Sterling and Lu Ann (Jack) Dillon of South Solon; 8 grandchildren, Bret (Cecilia) Anderson, Teri (Phil) Ley, Todd Anderson, Heather, Brianna and Dustin Dillon, Ronald and Randal Spring; 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Geneva Spring; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; also a very close companion, his dog, Sugar. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, a son and daughter-in-law Richard and Vera Spring and a brother Elmo Spring. Family and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. William Trego officiating. Burial will follow in Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Madison County.

Idamae Spring, age 89, of London, passed away Friday, February 2, 2007 in Sisters of London surrounded by a loving family. She was born August 24, 1917 in Franklin County the daughter of the late Lawrence and Emma Mae Karnes. Idamae was a very devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending her days with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed helping out as a farmer's wife and gardening. Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Jo Anderson of Mt. Sterling and Lu Ann (Jack) Dillon of South Solon; eight grandchildren, Bret (Cecilia) Anderson, Teri (Phil) Ley, Todd Anderson, Heather, Brianna and Dustin Dillon, Ronald and Randal Spring; three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Idamae was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth E. Spring (2006), a son and daughter-in-law Richard and Vera Spring and a brother Roscoe Karnes. Family and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the RADER-MCDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson, where Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 8530 Lilly Chapel-Georgesville Road S.E., London, Ohio 43140.
