Ella was born in Sep 1857 in Franklin Co., OH and died 30 May 1907 in Franklin Co., OH. She was the daughter of Aaron C. and Sloan (Brown) Clark. She married James Melvin Morgan on 22 Sep 1880 in Franklin Co., OH.

James was born 20 Feb 1859 in Delaware Co., OH and died 2 Jun 1931 in Franklin Co., OH. He was the son of Charles B. and Ann Amanda (Cutler) Morgan. The following was taken from the 4 June 1931 issue of the Worthington News.

JAMES MORGAN FATALLY HURT BY TRACTOR - James M. Morgan, 72, lifetime citizen of this place, was fatally injured Tuesday afternoon while operating a County tractor mowing machine on Smoky road, Marion Township. Mr. Morgan was repairing the cutters under the machine, when the tractor suddenly went into gear, dragging him several feet along the ground, the machine bursting into flames. Mr. Morgan was taken to Mercy Hospital but died before arrival there from a crushed chest, internal injuries, and severe burns. Mr. Morgan who was a member of the local I.O.O.F. lodge and judge on the board of elections, is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lester Grace of Powell, and three sons, Joseph of Columbus, Ralph of Lancaster and Richard of Linworth, six brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P.M. at the residence, 168 West South Street, with burial by S.E. Corbin in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
